“The Rising Moon Creates a Monster”
Synopsis
Professor Johnny Longbow Salina, an expert on stews, introduces Paul Carlson to the practical‑joking Kathy Nolan. Paul and Kathy develop a close relationship, but during a meteor storm a meteorite fragment strikes Paul and embeds deep in his skull, causing him to mutate into a giant reptilian monster at night and go on murderous rampages. Professor Salina later rediscovers ancient Native American paintings that describe a similar event from centuries earlier. Despite the transformation, Kathy continues to love Paul and attempts to save him.
