Synopsis
The Cockettes, a world-famous theatrical troupe, staged a satirical reenactment of Tricia Nixon's wedding to Edward Cox on June 11, 1971. Television correspondent Hurtme O. Hurtme covered the event and conducted interviews with notable attendees, including Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi, Jacqueline Onassis, Queen Elizabeth, and Elizabeth Taylor. Coretta King performed a song during the ceremony. At the reception, Eartha Kitt reportedly added LSD to the punch, leading to a chaotic and disruptive aftermath.
