Synopsis
True Caribbean Pirates explores the rise and ultimate decline of piracy in the Caribbean, focusing on legendary figures such as Blackbeard, Henry Morgan, Ann Bonny, and Black Bart Roberts. The series portrays these pirates and buccaneers as larger-than-life figures whose exploits were more dangerous than the myths surrounding them. Filmed in high definition, the documentary recreates the era of seafaring plunder and the forces that led to the downfall of piracy.
