Synopsis
Mary Giordano is a bright and intelligent student attending a Catholic school. She has a strong interest in mystery novels and detective magazines, which inspire her to engage in her own detective work. When she begins investigating the case of a murderer targeting teenage girls, she finds herself in conflict with her mentor, Detective Jerry Gunn. However, the investigation also leads her to form an alliance with police cadet Tony Campbell. The two collaborate to uncover the identity of the killer. As Mary gets closer to solving the case, she increasingly puts herself at risk of becoming the next victim.
