Synopsis
In the vibrant and contradictory world of the Barranquilla Carnival, Your Queen tells the story of Alondra, a trans woman who becomes a leading contender for the gay pageant, a space for expression, identity, and resistance. Amidst the celebration, music, and color, her life intersects with that of a man haunted by his past, sparking an unexpected relationship that will test his prejudices, fears, and desires for redemption. The film explores, through thriller and human drama, themes such as identity, freedom, and the search for recognition in a society still grappling with tensions surrounding diversity.
