Uncle Marin: The Billionaire
Synopsis
In a Black Sea resort hotel, employee Gogu encounters his uncle Marin, an Oltenian peasant visiting the area. Gogu offers to hide Marin in an empty room that is awaiting the arrival of American billionaire Mr. Juvett. Marin observes the revealing clothing worn by women at the resort, while other guests are intrigued by his traditional peasant attire. Inside the hotel room, Marin is confused by various gadgets. At the same time, gangsters learn that Juvett has arrived; he is the father of a kidnapped girl and intends to deliver a one‑million‑dollar ransom. A rival criminal group, aware of the kidnapping, plans to seize the ransom for themselves and follows Marin, mistaking him for Juvett.
