A married couple desperate to keep their home safe after a robbery must outwit the police officer they trusted when his obsessive fixation on the wife turns into a terrifying nightmare.

Synopsis
Michael and Karen Carr, a happily married couple, call the police after Karen is threatened at knife point during a failed robbery at their home. One of the responding officers, Officer Pete Davis, takes a special interest in their case and arranges for the installation of a new security system. Grateful for his help, the Carrs invite him to dinner, and a friendship begins to form. However, Pete's growing loneliness leads him to develop an intense fixation on Karen, and his friendly demeanor gradually shifts into a dangerous obsession, turning into a nightmare for the Carrs.
