Synopsis

Lum and her girlfriends are invited to Neptune by Oyuki, where she introduces them to her new business venture at a ranch that breeds flying sherbets—birds capable of producing sherbet cones from their beaks. Ran convinces Oyuki to let her borrow one, hoping to make quick money by selling sherbets on Earth. However, due to being overworked and the intense heat of a summer day, the sherbet becomes extremely irritable, even while confined in its refrigerated cage. It escapes after breaking free from its enclosure, but not before attacking Ran and Lum and damaging Benten's brand-new bike by firing sherbet cones at it. Now it is up to Ran to retrieve the runaway sherbet before Benten destroys it from the sky, and more importantly, before Oyuki discovers what happened.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 20

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
