Synopsis
Tommy is a vacuum cleaner salesman driven by an intense desire to close deals. He survives on puffa rice kept in his glove compartment and listens to motivational tapes featuring his own voice shouting, "Sell, sell, fucking sell." His customers are deeply in debt, and Tommy himself acknowledges that his "soul's in holes." He believes the Golden Vac—the pinnacle of vacuum sales—could be his, were it not for Pete, a timid sales trainee who is trying to help his girlfriend leave the stripping industry.
