Synopsis
In a small town in Texas, high school football holds a central place in the community, with 17-year-old players carrying the hopes of their town onto the field each Friday night. When star quarterback Lance Harbor is injured, the Coyotes must adapt under the uncertain guidance of John Moxon, a second-string quarterback who approaches the game with a somewhat irreverent attitude.
