Vaterherz
Synopsis
Graduate engineer Oliver Berger appears to be on a successful trajectory when he secures a lucrative contract for his employer and is promptly entrusted with a new major project. He endures frequent international travel and weekend work without complaint. His wife, Lena, and their ten-year-old son, Moritz, await him at their apartment in Erfurt or at their weekend home. Berger had never considered that his job might strain his marriage. However, he is deeply shaken when Lena abruptly leaves him, thrusting him into the role of a single father.
