Synopsis
Errol Morris's early documentary interweaves random conversations he filmed with the genuinely eccentric residents of Vernon, Florida. Among the examples are a preacher delivering a sermon focused solely on the definition of the word "Therefore," and an obsessive turkey hunter who speaks reverently about the "gobblers" he enjoys tracking and killing.
