Synopsis

Set in Paris in 1830, the story follows Vidocq, a renowned detective, who vanishes while confronting the Alchemist, an assassin he has been tracking for several months. His young biographer, Etienne Boisset, resolves to avenge Vidocq's death and takes over the investigation.
