Viegésimo aniversario
Synopsis
Les Luthiers is an Argentine comedy-musical group that has also gained popularity in several other Spanish-speaking countries, including Paraguay, Guatemala, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia, Cuba, and Venezuela. The group was formed in 1967 by Gerardo Masana during a period of intense choral music activity in Argentina's state universities. Their defining feature is the use of homemade musical instruments, some of which are highly sophisticated, which they skillfully use in their performances to create music and texts filled with refined and high-class humor. From 1977 until his death in 2007, the group collaborated with Roberto Fontanarrosa, a renowned Argentine cartoonist and writer.
