Vittorio - Momente des Glücks

Alessandro Rossi, an Italian air force officer in diplomatic service, is married to Bea Rossi, a pilot who previously experienced a miscarriage and becomes fixated on her desire for a child when she becomes pregnant again with a boy to be named Vittorio, meaning "winner." Bea resigns from her job and moves in with Alessandro's caring rural Italian family—his mother Teresa, father Giuseppe, and brother Giorgio—while his work keeps him largely abroad. Bea's domineering mother, Martha, who feels abandoned, calls her to Berlin after falling seriously ill, but dies before Bea can arrive by train. While clearing out Martha's home, Bea reconnects with Moritz Wiesner, her first love, who had cared for Martha on Bea's behalf, stirring up (un-)happy memories from her youth. Alessandro struggles to convince Bea to leave Berlin, where she selflessly saves a child in danger but then suffers another miscarriage, which she hides from him, somehow blaming him, and resolves not to return without obtaining a child in a deranged manner, though she is eventually discovered.
