Synopsis
This documentary explores the long history of conflict between European settlers and the Indigenous peoples of the Americas, beginning with the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1492. Combining historical analysis with interviews featuring Native elders, activists, and artists, the film presents an Indigenous perspective on the centuries of displacement, cultural survival, and political struggle that followed colonization.
