Weak Species

Steve and George are classmates entangled in a dangerous dynamic. For Steve, high school is a game of seduction, which he uses to fuel his art and poetry. His pursuit of the school's star athlete initiates a tense chase that could jeopardize both his reputation and the athlete's. Meanwhile, George, a reclusive student, deals with the stress of his mother's cancer and a strained relationship with his father by skipping class and using drugs. When he attempts to escape his troubles by hooking up with a stranger, he ends up in a life-threatening situation. Though they are at odds, George and Steve share more similarities than they realize. As their lives spiral downward, they face a choice: either save each other or continue toward self-destruction.
