A meticulous psychiatrist seeks a tranquil family getaway, only to have his anxious, clingy patient trail him and win over everyone he loves—threatening the doctor’s sanity and career.

Synopsis
Dr. Leo Marvin, a self-absorbed psychiatrist, is about to go on vacation when he is assigned a new patient, Bob Wiley. Bob is highly dependent and suffers from numerous phobias. He ends up accompanying Marvin to his family's country home. Marvin attempts to persuade Bob to leave, but the problem is that everyone in the household takes a liking to him. As Bob settles in, Marvin's professional demeanor begins to unravel, and he may soon find himself in need of psychiatric care himself.
