“A love story in a changing world”
Synopsis
Set in Athens during a period of economic crisis, the story follows Demetris, a highly independent 33-year-old man living a normal life and content with his status as a confirmed bachelor. His roommate is a female German Shepherd named Lonesome. One evening after dinner, Lonesome insists that Demetris take her out, despite his initial reluctance. This seemingly small decision becomes a turning point in his life. If he goes out, he will meet Christina, the love of his life. If he stays in, he will not. The narrative explores the question of whether true love exists and examines the impact of a severe economic crisis on individuals and relationships, particularly how such a crisis can strain or destroy a couple. The story is told from two different perspectives.
