Where the Summer Goes (Chapters on Youth)
Synopsis
Set in the summer, a boy and his friends travel to the river. During the journey, one of them recounts a tale about a man and his pet snake that tried to eat him. The boy later falls from a tree trunk and is injured. A girl goes after him, while a couple exchanges a kiss. Another boy ventures into the woods, and a third lies beneath a tree eating a peach. Over the course of four chapters, the heat and humidity of the forest bring out desires among the group.
