Synopsis

In a near-future world, basic human rights have become scarce. The cause is known to all: the VXII, a deadly virus that spread rapidly and wiped out most of the global population. Survivors who remain uninfected live in four quarantined cities behind a protective wall. Shawn Kors and his brother, Jude, survived the VXII and were raised in a squalid internment camp for orphaned children. Under the control of the militia, they were forced to fight other children in brutal combat matches. Shawn, Jude, and a few others who escaped gained notoriety for their exceptional fighting abilities. The brothers eventually went their separate ways. Shawn now works as a janitor at a local medical station, where he spends his days contemplating a cure for the VXII. When he discovers the discarded body of a former internment camp friend, he is drawn out of hiding and into a dangerous web of conspiracy and violence.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 16

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
