Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure
When a bumbling treasure hunter stows away on a friend's boat to find a hidden war stash, he must outwit gangsters, a deceptive compass, and a vengeful Japanese soldier on a dangerous island adventure.
Synopsis
Alan obtains a map leading to a stash of war treasure left behind by the Japanese army on a small Pacific island at the end of World War II. When gangsters attempt to steal the map from him, Alan hides aboard Charlie's boat just as it departs the harbor. To keep his plan secret, he alters the ship's compass so that Charlie remains unaware they are heading toward the treasure island. Upon arriving, however, they find the island is not as deserted as expected: it is inhabited by native people and guarded by a Japanese soldier still protecting the treasure.
