Paragraph 218, which makes abortions a punishable offence in Germany, has now been in the penal code for 150 years. In the documentary, 50 people who have had an abortion have their say. They are women, trans and non-binary people who describe the choices they had and the obstacles they faced. In the face of a emerging shortage of doctors, a strengthening network of Christian fundamentalists and a worldwide attack on reproductive rights and the right to bodily self-determination, a very important thematic debate
