Synopsis
*The Silent Force Tour*, the live DVD by Within Temptation, was released on November 18, 2005, in support of their album *The Silent Force*. The double DVD features a main concert filmed at Java-eiland in Amsterdam. Although the band performed several songs during the concert, including "Somewhere," "Enter," and "Running Up that Hill," these were not included on the DVD release. The track "World of Make Believe" was also scheduled to be performed, but keyboardist Martijn Spierenburg opted not to play it due to feeling "unprepared." The DVD also includes live footage from two European summer festivals—Helsinki, Finland, in 2005 and Rock Werchter, Belgium, in 2005—as well as the three music videos from *The Silent Force*: "Stand My Ground," "Memories," and "Angels." The second disc contains backstage footage, making-of documentaries, impressions, interviews, and additional extras. A deluxe edition of the release also includes a bonus CD.
