Synopsis
Sandra Lindt, a single parent, lives in the Hamburg harbor district, where she acts as a spokesperson for a small tenant community resisting the demolition of their residential street. To persuade the residents to abandon their homes, the sympathetic lawyer Siegfried Hübner is assigned to work with Sandra and her fellow activists. Sandra, however, has a deeply personal reason for not wanting to leave her apartment: she is a messie. As a delicate romantic relationship begins to develop between her and Siegfried, Sandra finds herself increasingly caught in a growing conflict.
