Synopsis
X-Men is a 2000 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Directed by Bryan Singer, the film is written by David Hayter, with a story by Singer and Tom DeSanto. It follows a world in which some humans are born with mutant abilities, often feared and misunderstood by society. The story centers on Wolverine and Rogue, who become involved in a conflict between two factions: Charles Xavier's X-Men, who seek peaceful coexistence, and the Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Magneto, who advocate for mutant supremacy. The film features an ensemble cast including Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Bruce Davison, Rebecca Romijn, Ray Park, and Anna Paquin.
