Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès: dans la tête du suspect

In April 2011, relatives and neighbors of the Dupont de Ligonnès family began to express concern. The shutters of the family home had remained closed for several days. On April 21, 2011, during a police search of the property, five bodies were discovered buried beneath the terrace: those of the mother and her four children. The father, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, was the only family member unaccounted for and quickly became the prime suspect in the quintuple homicide. Authorities traced his movements step by step, but his trail soon went cold. His last confirmed activity was on April 15, 2011, when he stayed overnight at a hotel in the Var region. Since then, no trace of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès has been found. An international manhunt was launched to locate him.
