Synopsis

Blue Racer discovers that a Japanese chicken on the local farm has laid an egg and quickly sets out to claim it. Unfortunately, the egg's father is a champion fighting rooster who has previously thwarted Blue Racer's attempts. In a final effort, Blue Racer trips the rooster, causing the egg to roll down to an ostrich farm. The rooster mistakenly takes an ostrich egg home, thinking it is his own, and it ends up hatching. The confused chicken couple then argues over the egg in Japanese. Observing the scene, Blue Racer addresses the audience, noting that it is Be Kind to Egg week and quips, "So take your egg out to dinner, or at breakfast."

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 9

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
