Zero Woman 2005
Synopsis
The Metropolitan Police Department's '0' section is a specialized unit within the police force responsible for investigating closed cases. Rei, a well-trained detective in the '0' section, is searching for memories she lost during her training while also investigating a human trafficking case involving a young woman as a victim. One day, a classified killer virus is seized by emerging terrorists. To investigate this new case, public safety dispatches Sarah Kodama, an expert in molecular biology and computers, to collaborate with Rei, but Rei refuses to work with her. Intrigued by the enigmatic Rei, Sarah begins gathering information about her and visits Rei's former boss, Asami. However, the man who appears before Sarah is actually an assassin intent on destroying the '0' section. What will happen to Sarah...? What secrets lie within Rei's lost memories?
