Zero Zone is film journey to the Ukraine's Eastern front where during late 22' the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated villages and cites from Russian occupation. The film portrays the reality of a cross section of civilians who survived the Russian occupation and are now faced with rebuilding their lives after having lost everything. In their own words we hear of their experiences, learn from their suffering and come to understand up close the the scars that the Russian occupation left on the lives who have lived through the wholesale destruction of their communities. While at heart the film is reflection on the war by those closest to it, Zero Zone also captures life on the front lines where they daily battle of the war is talking place, across a landscape and in trenches that is more reminiscent of the World War II than anything happening today.
