Natalia Solórzano Vásquez’s upcoming hybrid documentary, 'Spells to Revive a Witch,' has secured new production support from Spain’s Testaferro and Uruguay’s Guay Films. The film, which focuses on the mythical fortune teller Soralla de Persia, is set to be presented at the Costa Rica Media Market. Produced by Costa Rica’s Sputnik Films, the project has a track record of successful collaborations, including Mariana Murillo’s label, which previously produced the Cannes-selected 'Land of Ashes.' The documentary is currently in post-production and aims to explore the cultural and historical significance of its central figure. The involvement of international partners highlights growing interest in the project's unique storytelling approach and its potential for global appeal.
