Biography
Abubakr Ali is an Egyptian-born American actor who portrayed Officer Samir Bashir in *Law & Order: Organized Crime* and starred in the 2022 film *Anything's Possible*. He was born in Egypt and raised in Pasadena, California. A Muslim, Ali and his family relocated to the United States in 2000, as he explained in an interview with *Wonderland*. His father passed away in 2017.
