Biography

Adam Faith, born Terence Nelhams Wright, was an English singer, actor, and financial journalist. He gained prominence as a British rock and roll teen idol, securing consecutive No. 1 hits on the UK singles chart with "What Do You Want?" in 1959 and "Poor Me" in 1960. Faith was the first UK artist to have his first seven hits all reach the top 5, making him one of the most successful and charted acts of the 1960s. He was also among the first UK artists to regularly record original songs, helping to shape the British music scene during that era.
