Aiko Horiuchi

Aiko Horiuchi is a Japanese painter, writer, and actress. She is best known for her role as the villainess Kayako Saeki in *The Grudge 3* (2009), in which she took over the role previously played by Takako Fuji. Fuji had originally portrayed the character in earlier films of the *Grudge* series but passed away before *The Grudge 3* was made. Horiuchi's casting marked a significant moment in the franchise, as she became the first actress to portray Kayako Saeki after Fuji's death.
