Aimee Carrero

Aimee Carrero (born July 15, 1988, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) was raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School and graduated in 2006. Carrero began her professional acting career in 2007. Her early television appearances include roles on *Hannah Montana* (2006), *Lincoln Heights* (2006), and *The Mentalist* (2008). Her first major film credit was in the animated comedy *Ο Άλβιν και η παρέα του 2* (2009). Carrero is best recognized for her role in the television movie *Level Up* (2011), which premiered on November 23, 2011, and was followed the next year by a series of the same name, *Level Up* (2012). In the series, she reprised her role as Angie Prietto, continuing her character's adventures within and outside the online video game "Maldark: Conqueror of All Worlds." The series aired on Cartoon Network, the same channel that debuted the film. Carrero also appeared in the 2012 television film *Blue Lagoon: The Awakening*, starring alongside Indiana Evans, Brenton Thwaites, and Denise Richards. Since 2009, she has resided in Los Angeles, California.
