Biography
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1941, he grew up in Houston, Texas, earned an MFA from Yale University, and later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he currently resides. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Haufrect died in 2024 at the age of 83. His film appearances include Footloose, 9 to 5, and Twilight Zone: The Movie.
