Biography
Alejandro Landes Echavarría (born 1980 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Colombian-Ecuadorian film director, producer, screenwriter, and journalist. He is primarily known for directing Spanish-language films, including *Porfirio*, a Colombian drama based on a true story, and the documentary *Cocalero*, which chronicles Evo Morales's successful presidential campaign in Bolivia.
