Biography
Alfred G. Gosden was a British cinematographer who worked primarily in the American film industry during the silent era. Before moving to Hollywood, he was involved in Kinemacolor filmmaking, particularly with the Natural Color Kinematograph Company, where he shot the documentary *With Our King and Queen Through India*. He later worked with the Kinemacolor Company of America. In the United States, Gosden contributed to films produced by Triangle and Universal Pictures, among other studios. His career reflected the early developments in color cinematography and the increasing presence of British technicians in Hollywood during the early 20th century.
