Biography

Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III, known professionally as Aloe Blacc, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He gained international recognition for his guest performance on Avicii's 2013 hit single "Wake Me Up," which topped charts in 22 countries, including Australia and the UK. As a lead artist, Blacc is known for his singles "I Need a Dollar" and "The Man," the latter of which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of the hip hop duo Emanon, alongside record producer Exile.
