Biography

Ana Valeria Becerril was born on January 4, 1997, in Mexico City. She began her acting career in 2016 with the short film *Magnífico* and also appeared in *Camila* that same year. In 2017, she gained international recognition for her role as Valeria in *Las hijas de Abril*, which earned her the CANACINE Award for Best Female Breakthrough and the Ariel Award for Best Female Revelation. In 2019, she played Lucy in *Muerte al Verano*. Her role as Sofía Herrera in Netflix's *Control Z* (2020–2022) further established her in the entertainment industry.

In 2020, Becerril starred in the short film *Aire de lluvia* and the movie *Mi novia es la revolución* as Eva. In 2021, she portrayed Gina in *Los Días Que No Estuve*. In 2023, she appeared in the podcast *Caso 63: Enigma*, playing Isabel Frezan, a character skilled in solving puzzles and crosswords.
