Biography

Andrée Lumière was a French actress who appeared in early motion pictures. She is best known for her role in *Repas de bébé* (1895), a short film directed by her husband, Louis Lumière. The film, considered one of the earliest examples of narrative cinema, features Andrée as a mother feeding her child. As a pioneer in the film industry, she contributed to the development of cinema during its formative years.
