Biography

Ángel Infante Cruz was a Mexican actor and singer who played a significant role during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He appeared in more than 120 films, 47 of which were considered major hits. He often worked alongside his younger brother, Pedro Infante, in over 30 films, until Pedro's death in an aviation accident in 1957. Ángel is also remembered for making eight visits to Cuba and for presenting two pistols as a gift to Fidel Castro. His daughter, Sonia Infante, is a recognized television actress. Among his film credits are *The Two Orphans*, *Corner Stop*, *Women's Prison*, *Here Comes Martin Corona*, *My General's Women*, *Full Speed Ahead*, *What Has That Woman Done to You?*, *The Atomic Fireman*, and *Love for Sale*.
