Biography

Anica Dobra (born June 3, 1963, in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian film and theatre actress. She made her acting debut in her second year of studies in the short film *Pera Panker* (1985). In 1987, she gained recognition for her breakthrough role in the feature film *Život radnika*, for which she received the Best Leading Actress award at the Pula Film Festival. She continued with notable roles in critically acclaimed Serbian films such as *Već viđeno* (1987), *Sabirni centar* (1989), *Kako je propao rokenrol* (1989), *Crni bombarder* (1992), *Točkovi* (1998), *Klopka* (2007), *Ljubav i drugi zločini* (2008), *Neko me ipak čeka* (2009), and *Enklava* (2015).

Since the 1990s, Dobra has appeared in over 30 international films, primarily from German cinema. She received the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress for her role in *Rosamunde* (1990).

In parallel with her film career, Dobra has performed in theatre productions at Atelje 212, Zvezdara Theatre, and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. In addition to acting, she has translated the folk play *Der Drang* by Franz Xaver Kroetz from German.
