Biography

Annalise Basso is an American actress and model who is the youngest child of Marcie Basso and has an older brother and sister named Gabriel and Alexandria. Much of her early career consisted of appearances in television commercials and small, one-time roles on various shows. Her first notable role was as Eden Hamby on *True Blood*. In 2009, she appeared in a leading role in the TV movie *Love Takes Wing*, part of the *Love Comes Softly* series. At age 10, she participated in *Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?*, playing one of the students. Basso's first lead role in a feature film was in D.J. Caruso's *Standing Up*, a coming-of-age film based on Brock Cole's book *The Goats*, which premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
