Biography

Arman was a French and American artist known for his innovative approach to art, moving from using objects to leave ink or paint traces to incorporating them directly into his works. He became renowned for his Accumulations and his unique method of destruction and recomposition of objects. Born Armand Fernandez in Nice, France, Arman's work challenged traditional artistic boundaries and contributed significantly to the development of modern art.
