Biography

Ayo Edebiri is an American actress, comedian, television writer, and director. She gained widespread recognition for her role as chef Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series *The Bear*, which began in 2022. For her work on the show, Edebiri won a Golden Globe Award, two Actor Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award. She was also nominated for a Directors Guild of America Award for directing the episode "Napkins."
