Biography
Barry Morrow (born June 12, 1948) is an Academy Award-winning American screenwriter and producer. He wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay for *Rain Man*.
Morrow was born in Austin, Minnesota. He studied at St. Olaf College, leaving in 1970 one credit short of graduation. After submitting his screenplay of *Rain Man* for independent study credit, he received his degree in 1989.
