Biography

Benjamin Lloyd Crump is an American attorney recognized for his work in civil rights and catastrophic personal injury cases. He has represented a number of high-profile clients, including the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tyre Nichols, and others affected by incidents of police violence. Crump has also been involved in cases related to the Flint water crisis, the estate of Henrietta Lacks, the estate of Malcolm X, and the plaintiffs in the Johnson & Johnson baby powder lawsuit. He also represented nearly 200 victims of the 2021 Astroworld Festival and the family of Sonya Massey. Crump founded the law firm Ben Crump Law in Tallahassee, Florida, where he continues his work in the areas of justice and civil rights.
