Biography

Bowen Yang is an American comedian, actor, podcaster, and writer known for his work on the NBC sketch comedy series *Saturday Night Live*. He joined the show as a staff writer in 2018 and was promoted to cast member in 2019, remaining with the program for seven seasons until his departure in 2025. Yang made history as the first *SNL* featured player to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2021.
