Biography
Mirzapur is an Indian action crime thriller streaming television series created for Amazon Prime Video by Karan Anshuman, who co-wrote the script with Puneet Krishna and Vineet Krishna. The first season was directed by Anshuman, Gurmeet Singh, and Mihir Desai, with Desai also directing the second and third seasons alongside Anand Iyer. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, the series is set in the Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh and follows Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a powerful crime boss and businessman who dominates the region.
